Summer Holidays nearing the end but we still have so much to offer here at The Rusty Axe.
Summer Holidays may be drawing to a close but no need to worry as we have plenty more to offer over the autumnal and winter months ahead.
We may even end up with an Indian summer (now wouldn’t that be nice?), a few more lazy sunny afternoons with cool beers and wines to refresh.
Here at The Rusty Axe we are looking forward to ensuring the last months of 2019 are as grat as the Summer, with plenty more food and drink offers, events and live music still to come, we hope to see you all at The Rusty!
We are busy preparing lunchtime and evening menus, concentrating on seasonal, fresh, locally produced, sustainable menus with the emphasis on high quality ingredients and preparing and making everything in house, with a change of season on it’s way, Sue is busy deciding on a great Autumnal Menu that will include firm favourites and some new dishes sure to bring the autumn airs to the plate.
For all new customers that won’t have visited before, we have overhauled the main bar, dinning area and kitchen, which now caters for all, serving great food, an extensive drinks menu, wines from around the world and some great local ales and ciders.
As an extension to the friendly, warmth of the bar area, we have the all singing, all dancing Gin Bar stocking at present approx 20 different gins and premium spirits and longe area, located within our newly refurbished dining room, in our opinion a great asset to The Rusty Axe.
The whole Inn having undergone new decor and modernisation to create a perfect drinking and dining experience for all, whether an intimate dinner for two or a family gathering, we are sure that we can accommodate all our customers needs and requirements.
We are now on full service from the kitchen with an array of dishes to suit all, with our family friendly bar menu, our one, two and three course menus, evening menus, specials board and Sunday lunch menus, we look forward to welcoming you soon.
We are always on the look out for staff that would be an asset to our team, whether kitchen, front of house or bar, drop us an email or give us a ring and enquire.
